About
Started by two runners who opened a store, then a timing company.
Red Dirt Race Management began in 2010 so events could feel as good from the inside as they look from the start line. Ben Sigle and Trey Vernon, co-owners of Manhattan Running Company, still run it.
Ben grew up in the Manhattan area, ran cross country and track at Oklahoma State, and came home with a marketing degree to open Manhattan Running Company.
Trey grew up in Fort Scott, Kansas, ran at Oklahoma State, finished a management degree and an MBA, and spent time in the corporate world. In 2008 he joined Ben in Manhattan to open the store.
The current site’s 2019 Instagram posts are not embedded here. The account is still @reddirtracemgmt.
Meet the staff. Individual headshots are not on the current site — the photo on this page is the one Squarespace had of Ben and Trey together.
Manhattan Running Company is the shop. This site is the timing company.
